Each level in Hammerfight, whether playing through the solo-story or the mini-games, focuses on quick, furious bouts of intense action - ranging from hammering through other opponents in arena-style battles, to hunting deadly flying worms in cramped caverns.

The realistic physics engine, combined with the precise mouse controls and destructive environment, creates a truly chaotic and brutal experience. Instead of memorizing over-the-top super moves and combos similar to fighting games like Street Fighter, Hammerfight focuses entirely on the player's skill with the controls. And since the controls are spot-on, it works.

Hammerfight delivers what the Wii frequently promises, intuitive controls that create an entirely new gameplay experience. While most Wii games offer shallow "gesture" based controls, each swing in Hammerfight feels like the player's own.

Hammerfight also offers a training hall full of purchasable weapons, defensive items, secondary weapons like throwing darts and guns - players can even dual-wield by attaching two weapons together.
